Academy Program

Most educators will agree no two students are the same. Each students comes with different abilities at various levels.

Hamilton Southeastern Schools has made it a top priority to reach every student, and that means offering diverse programs. In August 2017, HSE Schools launched The Hamilton Southeastern Fishers Academy (HSFA) to provide academic interventions and workforce opportunities for high school juniors and seniors. This program can be recommended to you by your home school's guidance counselor.

The Academy works with Fishers High School and Hamilton Southeastern High School to design learning plans that meet the individual academic and social -emotional needs for students to reach their goal of earning high school credits.

Walk inside the HSFA and you will quickly notice the accolades of all the students proudly hanging from the walls. The space is organized so students can work independently, or they may sit where they can receive extra assistance from one of the on-site Math or English teachers.

Students take a least two academic classes at a time. When they earn the credits needed to graduate, they move on to the next step in their career path.

HSFA is different from other alternative school programs in Indiana.  Academy students are required to participate in the workforce, learning new skills and figuring out what they want to do in the future.
