17th Annual Carrie Colglazier Workday

September 28, 2019
All Day!

It’s time for the 17th Annual Carrie Colglazier Scholarship Workday!

We are looking for families or businesses that need odd jobs competed. For instance: mulch spread, windows washed, cars cleaned, lawn mowed, flower beds cleaned up, leaves raked, gutters cleaned, etc. Maybe you’re even looking for a babysitter?! We got you covered!

If you are interested in hiring workers for the workday you can go online at www.carriecolglazier.org; or contact Jennifer Jacobs at 317-753-5162. Workers will be matched with employers!

Work day is: Saturday, September 28th

Carrie’s Story: On June 6th, 2003, former Hamilton Southeastern student-athlete Carrie Colglazier, was tragically killed by a drunk driver. Carrie was a two sport All-State athlete in soccer and track and was very involved in the FFA program here at HSE. She was also a member of National Honor Society. Carrie was extremely passionate about her family, friends, teammates and her teachers/coaches. She took a great deal of pride in being a Royal. In cooperation with her parents, Hamilton Southeastern has set up a scholarship fund in honor of Carrie. This will involve a workday on Saturday, September 28th . On this day the girl’s track and soccer athletes, as well as our National Honor Society and FFA members, will be available to work for an 8 hour day for a minimum $25 donation. All proceeds will go to the Carrie Colglazier Scholarship Fund.
