HSE Schools Announces Staff Changes

The Board of School Trustees approved new roles within the corporation. Hamilton Southeastern Schools is excited to announce the following staff changes.

Kim Lippe, Executive Director of Staff and Student Services
 
Kim Lippe was approved by the Board of School Trustees during its regular meeting as the new Executive Director of Staff and Student Services on Wednesday, June 12, 2019. Her work will begin on July 1, 2019.
 
Mrs. Lippe is no stranger to HSE Schools. She has worked in several roles within the corporation, including four years as an Assistant Principal at Hamilton Southeastern High School, three years as an Associate Principal of the Hamilton Southeastern Freshman Center and the past four years as Principal of Fall Creek Junior High.
 
Mrs. Lippe is originally from Fort Wayne, Indiana. She graduated from Indiana University with a bachelor’s degree in Sports Marketing. She later returned to IU to pursue her true passion of education and received her master’s degree in Secondary Education and her teaching license.
 
Mrs. Lippe has always been interested in working in human resources and is excited for this next step within HSE Schools. She will begin pursuing her doctorate degree in Educational Leadership at Ball State this August. Her goal is to obtain her superintendent’s license within 18 months and finish with her dissertation for Ed.D.
  
Cecilie Nunn, Chief Financial Officer
 
Cecilie Nunn was approved by the Board of School Trustees during its regular meeting as the new Chief Financial Officer on Wednesday, June 12, 2019. Her work will begin following the retirement of current CFO Mike Reuter.
 
Mrs. Nunn has worked for HSE Schools since October 1997, serving in two roles: Clerk of Accounts Payable/Accounts Receivable and Director of Business. She has worked closely with the Chief Financial Officer to accomplish many important projects throughout the years, such as:
  • preparing and implementing the school corporation budget;
  • assist in maintaining a Fiscal Plan including the projection of revenue and expenditures;
  • and helping keep track of the receipt and expenditure of school corporation funds including approving vouchers authorizing the expenditure of money and management of the purchasing process.
Prior to HSE Schools, Mrs. Nunn obtained her Bachelor of Science in Accounting and Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance from the University of Arkansas in Little Rock.
 
On a personal note, Mrs. Nunn has been married for 29 years and has two sons. She and her family enjoy spending time enjoying the outdoors.
  
Marc Williams, Assistant Principal of Fall Creek Intermediate
 
Marc Williams was approved by the Board of School Trustees during its regular meeting as the new Assistant Principal of Fall Creek Intermediate on Wednesday, May 8, 2019. He will officially begin his new role on July 1, 2019.
 
Marc Williams has been an educator for over a decade and came to HSE Schools in August 2015 as a resource teacher for the Department of Exceptional Learners at Fishers High School.
 
In addition to his teaching duties, Mr. Williams has served as a member on school and district-wide Equity Teams. He is also the assistant coach of the Fishers High School Unified Track Team, co-sponsor of the of Fishers High School Future Black Leaders and Student Government groups.
 
Mr. Williams graduated from Butler University with a Bachelor of Arts in Media Arts and received a Master of Arts in Education, Educational Administration and Supervision from Ball State University.
 
A fun fact about Mr. Williams, he has lived in five states (Maine, Indiana, California, Texas, Ohio) and can play five instruments (bass guitar, piano/keyboards, drums, kalimba, guitar).
  
Chad Cripe, Principal of Hamilton Southeastern High School
 
Chad Cripe was approved by the Board of School Trustees during its regular meeting as the new Principal of Hamilton Southeastern High School on Wednesday, May 8, 2019. He will officially begin his new role on July 1, 2019.
 
Before accepting the role, Mr. Cripe was serving as the principal at Tippecanoe Valley High School in Akron, Indiana. Tippecanoe Valley has nearly 600 students, grades 9-12. Under Mr. Cripe’s administration, the school has received an ‘A’ from both the Indiana Department of Education and the United States Department of Education.
 
Prior to his role as principal, Mr. Cripe was the Assistant Principal at Manchester Junior Senior High School in Manchester, Indiana. He has been working in education since 2002, where he took his first teaching job at Perry Meridian High School in Indianapolis, Indiana. Mr. Cripe has taught in the following subjects: Government, Geography, AP Geography and U.S. History.
 
Mr. Cripe holds several education licenses, including school safety specialist, building-level education administration license and superintendent’s license . 
 
Mr. Cripe is currently enrolled at Ball State University, where he is working towards his doctorate degree and plans to finish his dissertation on RTI at the Secondary Level by the Summer of 2020.
