Walmart Neighborhood Market Helps Ensure HSE Students Have Needed School Supplies

October 08, 2020

As Hamilton Southeastern School’s youngest learners return to their classrooms, a generous donor contributed $2,400 in supplies. Due to COVID-19 protocols, students are using their own individual school supplies as much as possible, to reduce the spread of the virus through sharing common items. But thanks to Walmart Neighborhood Market #5767 near 131st and SR 37, additional supplies will be delivered to schools with students in need.
“Being a father and understanding the needs of children, it makes an impact in my heart to be able to help our area students. We really care about HSE Schools and want to be a part of the child development that happens in the community,” said store manager Tim Clark.
Walmart Neighborhood Market donated more than 1,700 items, including: pencils, crayons, colored pencils, scissors, glue sticks, pens and erasers.
HSE Schools greatly appreciates the support of local businesses, many of which have become partners, to ensure that students receive the highest quality educational experience.
