NEW (as of 2.26.21): If a student or staff member is exhibiting symptoms consistent with COVID-19, but test negative with an antigen (rapid) test, the student/staff member may be directed to get a PCR test to confirm by the school nurse. A PCR test is considered more reliable than antigen tests in determining if an individual is COVID positive. In addition, for travel outside the United States, the CDC offers the following recommendations for a safe return to the U.S. and school: Anyone returning from international travel should get tested 3-5 days after travel, along with a 7-day quarantine upon return. Those who do not get tested are recommended to quarantine for 10-days after travel. Both of these adjustments can be found on (page 15) of the Operations Plan.
