Teacher of the Year 2021
Fall Creek Junior High School's Teacher Librarian Kristen Distler has been selected as our district
Teacher of the Year. With the mission of inspiring, rejuvenating, and celebrating the teaching profession, the program encourages schools to nominate their local Teachers of the Year for this statewide honor. Finalists are selected from these applicants by a committee made up of former Teachers of the Year, IDOE staff, educational organization leaders, business and community leaders, and representatives from higher education.
Honors & Excellence Recipient 2021
Thorpe Creek Elementary’s Instructional Assistant Stephanie Covey has been selected as our district
Honors & Excellence recipient. Yearly, the district recognizes support staff with this award through nominations by their peers and the Fishers community. The H&E recipient is identified as an employee that routinely goes beyond the normal expectations of their job description resulting in outstanding support of HSE students and the HSE community.
